Junior DevOps Engineer

🚀 WE’RE HIRING | Jr. DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Jr. DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Aayulogic HRIS across client environments.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, software deployment, and troubleshooting, along with a willingness to learn and grow with the team.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying applications to client environments/cloud.

• Configure software and support successful client implementation.

• Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Automate infrastructure setup and maintenance using DevOps tools.

• Monitor and manage cloud servers to ensure uptime and performance.

• Troubleshoot technical issues during and after software implementation.

• Deploy software updates and patches in coordination with the team.

• Provide technical support and training to clients as required.

• Communicate software changes, updates, and scheduled downtimes to clients.

• Collaborate with Development and QA teams during feature rollouts and deployments.

• Support third-party integrations and API implementations.

• Assist in optimizing applications for better performance and scalability.

• Learn from senior engineers and actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities.

• Guide and assist interns or junior team members when required.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the concerned authority.

🔹 Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience.

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms preferred.

Knowledge

• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS/Azure will be beneficial.

• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)"
